This update also marks the beginning of Part Two. Additionally, I’m working on a new project that I can’t wait to share with you. I’m working on some character portraits that I hope will bring the characters of The Fire of Felwing to life in a new way. Stay tuned for more details!
As always, The Fire of Felwing series is available for free with options to support my work. I appreciate all of you for taking this journey with me, Solin, and the other characters, and I hope you enjoy the latest chapter.
And one final update: I’ve decided to use ChatGPT (by OpenAI) to assist in generating select administrative blogs. This blog was created this way; I provided the language-learning model with bullet points, then fine-tuned the prompts and edited the final piece. Generating a blog this way is in part a test to determine if automating blog generations is a good fit for basic publishing updates. By working with ChatGPT/OpenAI to draft this post, I was able to re-allocate time away from administrative tasks associated with pushing out updates (tagging, linking, etc.) and toward the creative process. I’m excited to explore new ways to streamline my workflow and focus on what I love most: writing fiction! (And, it seems, testing and documenting my experience with generative AI.)
